An experienced Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (eGRC) Executive, Kevin is the National Partner in Charge of Consulting Services within Templar Shield. While at Templar Shield Kevin is engaged on multiple GRC based work streams with experience in performing process and content driven management consulting, packaged GRC technology implementations, and custom application development.
Engagement leadership experience includes managing large, complex, and global enterprise level Governance, Risk, and Compliance implementations facilitating both the process and controls aspects of organizational GRC initiatives. His engagements at, and prior to Templar Shield include the organizational development of fortune 500 client business strategies with the implementation of numerous IT and Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance programs within all aspects of defined GRC domains and frameworks (IT, Finance, Operations, HR, and Legal).
Previous to Templar Shield, Kevin worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he helped to build and lead the National Performance GRC practice ground up.

Scott Barth Managing Partner, Consulting Services
As Managing Partner, Consulting Services for Templar Shield Professional Services, Scott is accountable for directing the financial, risk, and compliance functions of the enterprise and providing strategic guidance and delivery oversight of Integrated Risk / GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) service delivery. Scott provides 20+ years of experience in Risk and Compliance Management and has provided direct guidance and oversight to more than 100 GRC projects over 50 Fortune 1000 companies. Scott’s expertise includes growing professional services organizations and overseeing GRC strategy and numerous implementations of policy, risk, vendor, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), incident, loss recovery, audit, compliance, business continuity, threat and vulnerability management, information security, and related business process implementations in several countries in a wide array of industries including energy, finance, retail, telecom, insurance, product, government and high tech. Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of Nebraska.
Nic is National Managing Partner, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Strategist and Advisory Lead at Templar Shield. Nic has 15+ years of IT industry experience, including 8+ years in information security, risk, and compliance. Nic oversees strategic partner relationships, marketing and public relationships, business development, product development, and quality service delivery of many of key clients. Nic is GRCP, ServiceNow and RSA Archer Certified.
Bryan Shaughnessy is managing director of operations, providing 10+ years of business management, leadership, and operations excellence. Bryan oversees company operations including talent acquisition, HR, IT, Marketing, and Legal. As chief executive over operations, Bryan is responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all Templar Shield’s processes internal and external and driving efficiencies.
Bryan builds and maintains a strong business network with Templar Shield’s strategic GRC client engagements and partnerships. In doing this, his focus is on defining the long-term vision and relationship between Templar Shield and its core customers. In addition, Bryan manages business impact solutions that enable digital transformation by developing, communicating and providing direction to Templar Shield’s marketing team. Bryan earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Georgia College.
Liat Meeder Director, Consulting Services
Liat is a highly skilled Program Management professional, specializing in large scale Governance Risk and Compliance program enablement using a number of the leading technologies in the space. With 8+ years of GRC experience and knowledge of multiple leading technologies in the space, she has led deployments for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies which included process to technology translation, eGRC technology roadmaps development, working with clients to identify and document complex compliance and reporting requirements, identifying integration and enhancement opportunities, and end-to-end solution enablement.
Prior to coming to Templar Shield, Liat worked at PwC where she played a key role in building out the GRC practice and methodology that has since been widely adopted. Liat has been specializing in Archer since she began her journey in GRC. She brings knowledge and experience across the Archer solutions and use cases addressing various risk dimensions, including but not limited to ERM, Policy Management, Business Continuity, IT Security Risk Management, SOX, Security Operations, Privacy, and TPRM – for which she led successful deployments enabling the end-to-end TPRM lifecycle components (i.e. Risk Assessment, Due Diligence, Contracting, Ongoing Monitoring, Exit Strategy) to facilitate the integrated program functions.

Kevin is the National Director of Busines Development with Templar Shield. Kevin bears a deep understanding of data interpretation and analysis and demonstrates a dynamic ability to quickly comprehend, translate, and present technical content to identify strengths, improvement opportunities, and potential value. Kevin is goal oriented, committed to delivering robust service to clients and stakeholders, and maintains an exceptionally strong work-ethic. Kevin leads tactical resource investments to systematically analyze external and internal environments intended to align organizational actions with strategic priorities.
Prior to Templar, Kevin served as a Strategy & Management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in the public and private sectors offering experience in alternative pricing, alternative deal structures, project management and oversight, and business process re-engineering.
